The following brief information is provided to let you know when we celebrate the sacraments at St. Augustine. If you have any question or need more details, call the Rectory.
Please call the Parish Office to schedule a Baptism at least a few days in advance. Instructions for parents and godparents are held on the dya of Baptisms. The Baptisms are celebrated evey Sunday at 10:45 am. The average nu,mber of Children baptize in the church is 10 – 20 every Sunday. Special Bpatism is also accepted anytime during the week except Sundays.
The Sacraments of Reconciliation is celebrated at anytime of the day by appointment. Please see the secretary to ask for Preist to hear the confession.
The Sacraments of Holy Eucharist is celebrated daily at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. If you cannot get to church to attend Mass, contact the Parish Office to arrange a home visit For the Sick parishioners a Minister of the Eucharist may be sent for the patient to receive the Holy Communion.
Anyone who is planning to enter a hospital for surgery, or is experiencing a prolonged and serious illness, or is very weak due to the advancement of age, you should call the Parish Office and arrange for the celebration of the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.
Arrangements for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony must be made with the Parish Office at least SIX MONTHS before the wedding and before any other plans are made. Archdiocesan regulations for celebration of the Sacrament are to be followed in the preparation of each marriage. The Church accepts reservation for Marriage even 3 (three) before the wedding date. Classes in preparation for the reception of the Sacrament are held in H.J. Atienza Elementary School and Manila High School. Catechism clsses are also held in different chaples and mission station on weekends to prepare the children for the reception od the said sacrament. Usually the reception of this sacrament is jeld on August 28 (the Feast of St. Augustine) or in December 08 (the Feast of the Parish).
